The MOAT: Melbourne Mustangs are pleased to announce the signing of the newest member of the Mustangs family, our final import, centre David Sefic for the 2016 AIHL season. Sefic, 26, played for HDD Jesenice in the 2015-2016 season, which was split between Austria2 and Slovenia, recording three points (2-1-3) and four penalty minutes in 12 games. The 181cm (5'11"), 83kg (183lbs) centre brings international experience to the club - having played in ten leagues across Europe and being crowned Slovenian champion twice, in 2011-12 with Olimpija Ljubljana and 2014-15 with HDD Jesenice. Based on the articles written on Sefic, (or "Boss" as it appears to translate to) he appears to be a role player - adapting to the team/league he is assigned to and adjusting his play to suit the physicality required. A native of Bled, Slovenia, Sefic brings offensive depth and experience to the Melbourne Mustangs. Please join us in welcoming David "The Boss" Sefic to the Mustangs! After a highlight?
