Bauer Own the Moment Junior Camp

Kids between the ages of 10-16 are invited to join us for the 2017 Bauer Own the Moment Junior Camp presented by Skaters Network, June 3rd and 4th at O’Brien Group Arena.

Led by John Kennedy Jr., defenceman for the Newcastle Northstars, campers will learn from the best players and coaches ever assembled in Australia.

Format
Saturday, June 3rd from 8:30am-12:00pm
Sunday, June 4th from 10:00am-1:15pm

On Ice Development- two 60-minute on-ice sessions focusing on skating, puck handling and other game related skills. Sessions will be innovative and consist of drills that are fun and adaptable to the skill level of each participant.

Off Ice Development- one 60-minute off-ice development session focusing on motor skills work and completing physical tasks. Activities will focus on creating a fun environment where participants will learn the value of teamwork while improving their overall fitness.

Special Presentations- campers (and their families) will have an opportunity to hear from Australian Institute of Sport nutritionists who will present strategies to enhance performance and requirements and concerns of ice hockey athletes; needs, performance goals, eating style and capacity to eat well within living circumstances.

1 weekend pass for the AIHL All-Star Weekend; Skills Competition and All-Star Game.
1 jersey, t-shirt, cap, water bottle, souvenir puck, picture and certificate.
