A Statement from Max

In regard to Sunday’s post game handshake;

I would like to present my apologies to the Adelaide Adrenaline organisation and fans attending the game on Sunday April 22^nd. Following the end of our game against the Adelaide Adrenaline, I left the bench and walked directly to our dressing room. It is custom in the AIHL that players, coaches, and officials shake hands following the end of matches and it is my responsibility to act accordingly. My actions were in no way intended to disrespect the Adelaide Adrenaline players and coaches, who played a brilliant game and deserved the win.

I have contacted Eric Balnar, President of the Adelaide Adrenaline, and was glad to hear that his players, coaches and support staff, were in no way offended by my actions. I strongly believe in the importance of fair play, respect, and integrity in sport –values shared throughout the KODIAK Melbourne Mustangs organisation.
